Good news for he fans of hard off-road riding as Yamaha is having their new 2014 Raptor 700R SE shipped to the dealerships around the world as we write. If big-bore aggressive quads in a Special Edition trim are your game, then rejoice, as it will only be days until you get to test ride one.
The 2014 Yamaha Raptor 700R SE boasts a special graphics kit and brings GGYTR front grab bar and limited edition heel guards. This US-made off-road machine is powered by the acclaimed 686cc injected engine which delivers consistent performance regardless of temperature, humidity or altitude.
A manual 5-speed gearbox with reverse harnesses the power and torque of the engine and sends it to the rear axle by means of an O-ring chain with an easy-to-use eccentric adjustment system. The hybrid aluminium-steel frame and cast swingarm provide the right balance of stiffness and lightweight construction, while neatly accommodating the long-travel piggyback shocks and the race-specced inner rolled rims.
