Yamaha showed their new iteration of the Grizzly 700 for 2014, bringing some nifty updates to the off-road game and claiming better fuel economy.
Yamaha's flagship ATV comes in a wider flavor: the overall width is 60mm bigger, not a huge step, but this adds to the stability though corners, anyway, so it's really nice. At the same time, the new Grizzly received new shocks with longer travel for better response to unwelcoming terrain. The 2014 Grizzly 700 comes with an upgraded EPS (Electronic Power Steering) system, which promises an improved balance between steering ease and negative feedback damping.
At the heart of the 2014 Grizzly 700 beats the 686cc single with a redesigned 4-valve head and better compression ratio of 10:1. The power unit is mated to an Ultramatic transmission with 2WD, limited-slip 4WD and fully-locked AWD.

The digital dash gauge provides info on speed, distance, time, 4WD status, transmission position, and fuel. The new Grizzly 700 is made in the US at Newnan, Ga., and comes in Steel Blue, Hunter Green, Red and Realtree AP HD camo.
Non-EPS models start at $8,899 (€6,665), while the EPS-loaded ones have a $9,499 (€7,115) base price.
