2014 World Cup’s “Biter” Luis Suarez Drives a BMW X5

By now you already heard about the biting incident that happened this week, when Uruguay striker Luis Suarez allegedly bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini. Well, Liverpool’s forward is not that fearless in real life as you’d think. And it would seem it’s the same with the cars he likes to drive, considering he owns a BMW X5.

This football player is just too good at his game for anything to pull him off the football field. Well, at least that was the case until recently, when FIFA, soccer’s international governing body, has officially banned the Uruguay striker from the remainder of the World Cup for his alleged bite.

Suarez claimed in his defense to FIFA that the shocking act was not deliberate and he simply lost his balance and fell on to the Italian player with his teeth.

Well, if we are to take a quick peek on this guy’s career, we’ll have to say he really likes to go wild. In fact, Suarez has been the source of much controversy throughout his soccer passage. As well as his 2010 World Cup goal-line handball, he has also bitten at least three opponents, has been widely accused of and admitted to diving, and was found guilty by the FA of racially abusing Patrice Evra, a decision Suarez disputes.

You see, that is why most of his fans probably expected him to be more of a Lamborghini Aventador or a G-Wagon type of driver. On the other hand, this midsize luxury SUV was BMW’s first SUV which featured all-wheel drive and is by far one of the most popular cars among his fellows Europeans, so maybe he is just trying to fit in.
