Feel like jumping aboard your bike and hitting the road to whatever destination the sunset might bring? Good, but in such case having some clothes and other things which are necessary for a vacation is a very good idea... and the riding off into the sunset on a 2014 V Star 1300 Tourer is an even better idea.
Comfort-focused down to the last detail, the 2014 V Star 1300 Tourer comes with a low seat (27.2” or 69cm) and pulled-back handlebars, making sure the riding position is a relaxed one. And because the foot controls are a bit to the forward and this would spell a hard time at highway speed, the Tourer comes with a generous, tall windscreen for shield the riders from the air stream. A sculpted seat and passenger backrest are standard, just like the leather-covered hard-cases.

At he heart of the 2014 V Star 1300 Tourer pounds an 80cui (1304cc) 60-degree v-twin mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a belt final drive. The bike rolls on 7-spoke cast aluminium wheels and the fat 130cc front tire makes everything look chunky and impressive.

Star claims the 712 lbs (322 kg) bike does 42 mpg (5.6 l/100 km), which is pretty decent, indeed for such machinery. The 2014 V Star 1300 Tourer is already available from June for the nifty price of $12,390 (€9,520).
