Enter the 2014 Thunderbird LT, Triumph's saddlebagged cruiser, a nifty upgrade from the basic machines. With LT standing for Light Touring, I believe that "light" refers to the fact that one cannot add a kitchen sink to the luggage, because the new Thunderbird looks anything but skinny and light to me.
In fact the bike shows a very robust attire with compact and tough looks, just like one would have expected. The 1699cc parallel twin might not appeal to everyone, but this is Triumph trademark so it's take it or leave it.

The mill delivers 92 hp at 5,400 rpm and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft) of torque at 3,550 rpm, which should be pretty much all you need to put many road users to shame.

Triumph has added many revision to the old bike, including lighter bars, whitewalled radial tires claimed to be a world premiere, classy laced rims and a solid 3-piece headlight.

Aside from the generous 22-liter tank, 2014 Triumph Thunderbird LT comes with a very rich-looking seat, nifty embossed saddlebags, passenger backrest and floorboards and a mid-sized windscreen. The bike will be available in either Caspian Blue/Crystal White or Lava Red/Phantom Black, for a price which is yet unknown.
