The only family van offered with an al-wheel-drive system in the US, the Toyota Sienna now comes with more standard features for the 2014 model year.
Standard power will be offered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine pushing 266 hp through a six-speed automatic transmission, returning an 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway (13 l/100 km city; 9.4 l/100 km highway) fuel consumption and the possibility to tow a 3,500 lb (1,588 kg) trailer.
The 2014 Sienna family van will be offered in five grades - L, LE, SE, XLE and Limited - with all-wheel-drive powertrain available for the LE, XLE and Limited models.
Standard features on the L model includes cruise control, daytime running lights, tri-zone air conditioning, six-way-adjustable driver seat, power windows with one touch up/down and jam protection. AM/FM CD player with AUX, power locks and keyless entry system
The LE grade comes with additional three-zone automatic climate control, eight-way powered driver seat, four-way adjustable passenger seat, dual power-sliding doors and power rear gate, auto-dimming mirror with Homelink, multi-information display with backup camera, rear sunshades, MP3 CD player with SiriusXM satellite radio, AUX and iPod connectivity, as well as steering wheel audio controls.
For the XLE, there will be added features like leather-trimmed seats, tilt/slide moonroof, anti-theft system, heated front seats, while the optional pack will add 10-speaker JBL premium audio system, rear-seat Dual View Entertainment system, Smart Key and rear parking sensors.
The sporty SE model gets lowered side skirts, 19-inch wheels, LED taillights with smoked sport trim and chrome-accented door handles. Moreover, the model gets a sporty suspension, exclusive instrumentation and unique interior colors.
Top-of-the-line Sienna Limited offers extensive equipment, such as second-row Lounge Seating, power 60/40 Split & Stow third-row seat, front and rear parking sensors, Smart Key, Safety Connect and independently powered dual sliding moonroofs.
Improved safety will be ensured by standard Blind Spot Monitor on XLE and Limited grades, seven airbags and the Toyota Star Safety System. The Limited version also gets the Pre-Collision System and the Safety Connect system which offers Automatic Collision Notification, Stolen Vehicle Location, Emergency Assistance Button and Roadside Assistance.
