2014 Toyota Land Cruiser - More Details Revealed

We’ve recently showed you the upcoming Toyota Land Cruiser that will arrive next year on the market. The automaker has now released more details over the SUV’s enhancements, both for design, features and performances.

Starting with the design, the new Land Cruiser will come with revised exterior design, featuring a bolder front fascia, with a more prominent grille, new headlight cluster with integrated daytime running lights as well as a redesigned front bumper. At the rear, the lamps have been redesigned using clean lens blocks and red accents while the license plate surrounding has been rendered more prominently. New 17 and 18-inch redesigned rims have also been introduced along with several new body color finishes.

Inside, the central console gets a new switch panel for the driving modes as well as for the suspension setup. The instrument cluster has been revised too, accommodating a new 4.2-inch TFT screen between the main gauges, which the two using thinner needles and blue illumination. Brushed metal and wood trimmings were used to complete the upscale feeling, while the seats ave been redesigned for more comfort.

For increased safety, the new Land Cruiser will optionally gain the Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert systems, while the driving performance will be improved via a retuned suspension.

The 188 bhp and 420 Nm of torque 3-liter turbodiesel engine has been revised to meet the Euro 5+ emission standards. Pricing has not been revealed yet so stay tuned for more.
