If you want a top-trim Toyota Highlander, the $39,649 Limited grade comes with all you need in terms of comfort and convenience. However, if you want to throw in about $7,000 more, the Highlander Limited gets transformed into a Limited Hybrid.
For the extra cash, the top trim 2014 Highlander comes with a battery pack and an electric motor that turns only the rear wheels, automatically transforming the car in a four-by-four.
Recently tested by the guys over at The Fast Lane Car, the Toyota Highlander Hybrid was to be found as an entry-level Lexus. The interior comes with niceties such as three-zone automatic climate control, Entune Premium JBL infotainment system with multiple connectivity and integrated backup camera with dynamic guidelines, perforated leather-trimmed seats, cruise control and more.
Apart from the spacious interior and the neat glass opening part of the rear hatch, the guys found other interesting features in the new Highlander, which can all be seen in the video bellow.
