The new Toyota Harrier crossover SUV comes with an improved design, which surprisingly looks better than the on from the RX descendant model, and a load of technological features.
On the exterior, the new Harrier is characterized as “Elegant Velocity”, having long front and short rear overhangs that adds a streamlined dynamism to the side profile. The dramatic curve of the front bumpers toward the rear creates a powerful, compact front end, while the deeply chiseled front face makes the new Harrier instantly recognizable.

The new Harrier is now smaller on the outside, enabling a minimum turn radius of 5.3 meters, but despite its diet, the interior gained 47 mm of extra legroom.

Speaking about the interior, “rich simplicity” are the words to describe it better. Padded surfaces with accented stitching and wood grain ornamentation bear testament to skilled craftsmanship, while a technically advanced center cluster with touch-sensitive switches demonstrates modern refinement and attention to details. The central console also includes a wireless charger for charging smartphones and other mobile devices.

Comfort is now increased a new power rear hatch, while the Toyota-first Cold Storage Evaporator will allow the air conditioner to deliver cool air in the cabin for a longer time while the vehicle is idling. Moreover, your nostrils won’t dry up from the AC, as it will emit nano-sized electrostatic atomized water particles.

The exterior comes in seven colors, including five distinctive dark shades, while the interior can be had in three colors, of which is the newly developed Deep Bordeaux found on the upper portion of the instrument panel that adds a vibrant accent.

On the technology side, the Toyota Harrier features Panoramic View Monitor for improved lateral visibility by combining views from four exterior cameras, Lane Departure Alert, Pre-collision System with millimeter-wave radar, Intelligent Clearance Sonar and Drive-start Control.

The 2014 Toyota Harrier comes in four flavors - Grand, Elegance, Premium and Premium Advanced - and a choice of two engines: a 2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine making 151 PS and 193 Nm of torque as well as a 2.5-liter hybrid one delivering a total of 196 PS and 206 Nm.

Prices start at ¥2,720,000 and ends at ¥3,610,000. Check the picture bellow for the full pricing list.
