The highly anticipated 2014 Toyota Corolla will reportedly be unveiled before the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Toyota executive Bob Carter has revealed that the redesigned Toyota Corolla will already be on sale by the time the Los Angeles Auto Show starts, with the debut to take place "somewhere in the US".
"Between New York and LA is a big span. Sometime a production introduction doesn't fall into the auto show timeframe," Mike Michels, a Japanese automaker spokesman, told Edmunds.
While the 2014 Corolla was previewed back in January by the Corolla Furia Concept, Toyota hasn't revealed powertrain details on the future Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus and Honda Civic contender. Don't be surprises if the Japanese automaker will fit the next version with the same 1.8-liter four-cylinder mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
