We could make a joke about how the Toyota Corolla is white goods, like a washing machine or an blender. Bu the way it's selling, there's no point in laughing. Sure, mid-size sedans have really taken off the past few years and the Camry is their main star, but the new compact from the Big T proves you don't need anything else. After all, nobody ever complains that their fridge is too economical, easy to use and affordable.
This latest review from Consumer Reports really has no bad points, which is rare for them. This isn't because Toyota payed them off, but because the negative points are actually there for a reason, customers having to problem in trading fun for refinement.

As per usual, they actually went ahead and bought an actual car from a dealer, paying a little over $20,000 for the 2014 Corolla LE, fitted as standard with a Enture, integrated backup camera, keyless entry, automatic climate control and cruise control.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
