Well, it didn’t take digital artists too much time to virtual-chop the new Corolla and come up with a coupe version already.
Just as the first official 2014 model Toyota Corolla pictures were released, the guys over at X-Tomi Design took their digital pens and came up with this little beauty.
Removing the rear doors of the compact sedan and slightly reducing the car’s wheelbase, turned out to be a nice idea for a Corolla coupe, as some of the sedans features like the “kink” of the rear windows were hinting already a coupe-ish shape.
Still, the designers didn’t had that much time to fiddle around with details and there is room for tiny improvements. Who knows? Maybe Toyota will get a glimpse at this rendering and make one in the future. It will surely look good with a lower suspension, smoked lights and a rear difusser.
