Street and Racing Enthusiasts has released new photos of the 2014 Viper TA (Time Attack), a special edition spec-package that “offers track enthusiasts a turn-key track set-up”.
As we’ve previously mentioned, the new Viper Time Attack will be built in only 159 units - 93 of which will be painted in “TA Orange”, 33 in “Venom Black” and 33 in “Bright White” - which are scheduled to arrive in nationwide dealerships starting with the fourth quarter of 2013.
SRT’s new package features a unique race-tuned calibration for the Bilstein DampTronic suspension, retuned springs/shocks, carbon fiber structural X-braces, new Brembo rotors, carbon fiber front splitters and rear spoiler, and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires mounted on ultra-lightweight Sidewinder II wheels.
The 2014 Viper Time Attack is motivated by a handcrafted all-aluminum 8.4-liter V10 engine rated at 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque - “the most torque of any naturally aspirated sportscar engine in the world.” Official pricing has yet to be announced, but rumor has it the Viper TA will cost around $120.000.
