The 2013 Skoda Octavia will be available on the Chinese market starting from July, after the car will be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April this year.
Skoda plans to sell the new Octavia alongside with the older generation already available in China. This way, the automaker hopes to reach both types of customers: those who want a cheaper but still strong car and those who have a bigger income and prefer the improved generation.

Compared to it’s predecessor, the new Octavia is slightly bigger, with more interior space, comfort options and improved safety. Also, thanks to it’s new generation of improved engines, the car will be 23 percent more fuel economical and less polluting.

Prices for the new four-door saloon from Skoda are set around 120,000RMB (€14,800) for the 1,6-liter version and a bit higher for the 1.4-liter TSI turbocharged model.
