Last month we were telling you about Shelby American donating a 2014 Shelby GT500 Super Snake performance package to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Well, the auction took place a few days ago and the musclecar fetched no less than $235,000, all of which were donated for cancer research.
The winning bidder will have the Super Snake package fitted on a 2014 Shelby GT500 provided by North Texas Ford Dealers. What’s more, the new owner gets to customize the styling of the Super Snake and have it built to spec by Shelby American. As a reminder, the GT500 Super Snake comes with 662 horsepower!

This 2014 Shelby GT500 Super Snake is one of the many musclecars donated by Shelby this year. Back in August, the last 2014 Shelby GT500 Convertible was hammered at $500,000 with proceeds given to the Brain Injury Association of America.
