There’s mud flying everywhere, but all we care about in here is the Meridian audio system, with Freddie Mercury asking us not to stop him now. We’re out test driving the 2014 Range Rover Sport so this kind of behavior was predictable.
Gone in the steel Integrated Body Frame of the Discovery / LR4, being replaced by an aluminum monocoque chassis. Die-hard rugged terrain enthusiasts may be protesting but for us, Sunday offroad drivers, the new structure is better. That’s because the car is easier to handle and more agile. Simple.

However, it’s time to get back on the road, where the Range Rover Sport will spend most of its time. The expected British character is more prominent now, as the vehicle has been refined.

Mind due, you have to spec the thing well, or else the lack of cutting-edge tech under the car will bring a flimsy experience when it comes to handling and braking.

We're spoiling ourselves in the dangerously pleasant leather, so we'll get to the rest of the experience in our 2014 Range Rover Sport test drive.
