When we tested the old Range Rover Sport, one of the things we simply had to do was drive it through a river. Now that the 2014 Range Rover is out, we repeated the task and the more rigid structure brought a boost of confidence into the cabin.
There’s nothing quite like the look of an SUV that’s done a proper job off the road and is sunbathing afterwards. This Brit is attractive in a normal state, but with the mud drying all over it it’s damn right sexy.
Time to get back on the road now, because this is where the car will spend almost all of its driving time. The character is definitely here, so, from school run to vacations, you’ll be enjoying it. Nevertheless, you need to spec the vehicle well in order to do this. Otherwise, the body roll will take over and ruin the experience.
The cabin is light years ahead of that used by the previous generation. While the new dashboard is the first that meets the eye, the rear comes with a huge change of its own: a ton of extra space. We can’t invite you to stretch your legs inside the car, but we can give you a pretty good idea of what the feels like in our 2014 Range Rover Sport Full HD photo gallery.
