The 2014 Range Rover Sport has just been taken back to the three-door roots of the original Range Rover. The job was handled by London-based developer Bulgari Design, which has come up with a “Coupe” version of the SUV.
Bulgari Design, which has been playing with Range Rovers since 2004, wishes to give a new identity to the 2014 Range Rover Sport. Thus, they’ve come up with a three-door conversion for the Brit, which is accompanied by a wide range of exterior and interior mods.
The Range Rover Sport Coupe conversion is offered with two engines in the line-up, the 510 PS supercharged V8, as well as the 292 PS 3.0-liter SDV6 diesel.
The SUV will be offered via certain Land Rover dealerships, as well as through independent dealers across the world. It comes with a three-year warranty, while servicing and warranty operations can be taken care of by Land Rover sites.
Bulgari Design is aiming to build 100 units of the 2014 Range Rover Sport Coupe, with the price being estimated at a serious GBP150,000 (EUR180,000 or USD247,000).
Update: As it turns out, the story may be simply about an aftermarket developer testing the market. To put it another way, this could all be fake.
