The high performance coupe looks very similar with the regular 911, the differences being made by the more aggressive front fascia, bigger side skirts, wider rear fenders, a fixed rear wing, new rear bumper and LED headlights.

It is the first Porsche model to benefit from an active rear wheel steering system that will help the it go faster and handle better in corners.

Under the rear hood, there is a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine that boasts 475 hp (349 kW) and 438 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. The engine sends the power to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a locking differential, making the 911 GT3 to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds from a standing start, before reaching a 315 km/h (195 mph) top speed.
