What can you do on a sleety winter day better than test drive a large comfortable sedan like the 2015 Peugeot 508 we have here. This is actually a facelift and comes with just enough to make it cool again.

The exterior is a bit more chiseled to meet modern demands. For example, the headlights are thinner and come with LED technology, while the grille looks more robust. The lion badge has been moved in the center of the new grille now and there’s also a new bumper down there holding the relocated LED daytime running lights.

The back comes with new LED taillamps, a redesigned bumper as well as a slightly different boot lid to make the car look more planted on the ground while giving it an overall solid feel.

On the sides, the only things that changed are the new rims which seem to integrate better with the overall design. By the way, you see that nice metallic paint? It’s called Bourrasque Bleu. How french is that?

The interior is quite the same, you are still welcomed by the same Passat-ish dashboard and rather comfortable textile-leather seats. There’s a new touchscreen infotainment system at stake though which makes things easier and also declutters the lower central console.

We would have loved this car if it was 2013. The new Passat and even the Mazda6 are outshining it now. Still a great well equipped car for the less fussy of you. Don’t forget to check out our full review and the full gallery attached to it.
