The newly-revealed 2014 Peugeot 308, which we already wrote about a week ago, was photographed near the company’s plant in Sochaux, France.
Painted in black and without any sorts of camouflage elements attached to its body, the seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf competitor showed up in metal for the first time ahead of its official debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, scheduled in September.
Set to be assembled in Sochaux, the new 308 will receive its engines from the Tremery and Douvrin plants. While Peugeot has yet to reveal the mills that will be powering the 308, we do know that many of them will be shared with the smaller 208 model.
The new C-segment car will go on sale in Europe shortly after its debut in Frankfurt, while UK customers will be able to order the French vehicle starting January 2014.
Don't forget to check out the 2014 Peugeot 308 rendered as a three-door and Sports Wagon.
