The Japanese tuning culture is unlike anything you've ever seen in Europe and America. You have the Bosozoku style, VIP tuning and many other styles we can't fathom or pronounced. The cool thing though is that people there don't mind seeing a GT-R next to a Rolls-Royce.
A recent car club meeting organized by famed tuner Office-K and Forgiato Wheels brought together some really amazing custom cars. This gathering, which takes place every year, took place on April 13th at the "German village" in Chiba, a few hours away from the center of Tokyo.
The two companies have managed to bring together some of the most controversially tuned high-end vehicles out there – carbon fiber Phantoms, lowered SUVs and some crazy custom colors that don't seem to belong. Aside from the epic selection of custom models that we described, there's also quite a few stock models from Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari and other European marques.
Our favorites include the baby blue widebody Corvette built by Forgato and those tricked out lowrider Lamborghinis, especially the pink one. And let's not forget about that mighty black Phantom Series II with a WALD International Black Bison body kit. If you've ever seen more radical kits and wraps in one place, feel free to let us know.
