Mitsubishi Motors has announced US pricing information for the 2014 Mirage, confirming the $12,995 starting price tag reported by Jalopnik last week.
Available with only one engine, the frugal 1.2-liter three-cylinder, the entry-level DE 2014 Mirage can be ordered with either a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT, the latter with an extra $1,000 attached to the vehicle’s starting price. Standard features on the DE include automatic climate control, keyless entry with panic alarm, rear spoiler, piano black center console trim, auto-off halogen headlights and rear heater floor ducts.
The ES model starts at $14,195 with the five-speed manual, and adds FAST-key passive entry, One-Touch Start/Stop (OSS) engine switch, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, steering wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, 14-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, fog lamps, and silver interior accent trim. For $16,095, the Mirage ES can be had with CVT and the Navi Package, which includes an SD card-based navigation system and rearview camera.
