Yes, ladies and gentleman, the Cooper S is loud as it should and it is more than entertaining, no matter where you’re driving it. The new engine and the new chassis work together to bring only the brightest smiles on people’s faces.
The best thing about these smiles is that they happen both in and out of the car, because the exhaust makes a loud, popping noise every time you go into sport mode and give it a go.

The guys from MotoringFile (or BimmerFile, however you want to call them) posted a video of their review of the new car on their Youtube channel, allowing us to get a grasp of how brilliant the new F56 MINI is.

The engine I was talking about earlier is a 2-liter, 4-cylinder unit that has a turbocharger and makes 192 HP and up to 300 Nm of torque, pretty decent numbers (I’m sure they could’ve gone for more). The sound it makes though... Considering the scale, I think it’s worthy of a comparison with Jaguar’s V8 from the F-Type.

The chassis setup and the car’s suspension are two other essential improvements, the new model being more comfortable than the car it’s replacing whilst, at the same time, being more planked and more stable on the road, allowing you to have fun at all times.

I won’t keep you any longer, I’ll leave you to the video but remember to come back after and let me know what you think.
