Remember the spyshots we showed you, revealing the 2014 MINI Cooper S in all its grandeur? You might've noticed that there were cameras all around the new hot hatch and that they were filming a spot. Now we know what it was.
The introduction of the Mk3 model has to be done the right way. In this regard, the British company brought Spike back. Don't know who Spike is? He's the English bulldog known for filming with MINI to advertise the way the car is built and its origins.

He was joined on the set by a Great Dane that, we're told, had the role of trying to steal the MINI away from our little English Bulldog. Of course, both of them were under the strict supervision of a special team of dog experts, so that the commercial would turn up perfect.

MINI and the English Bulldog are not new to each other. An English Bulldog appeared in the recent MINI brand campaign featuring the claim 'NOT NORMAL' and the MINI Collection wouldn't be complete without the bulldog (the cuddly version of the animal, that is one of the most popular MINI lifestyle products).

The official unveiling of the new MINI will take place on November 18th, 2013, on the 107th birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis, the man that designed the first Mini over 50 years ago. The premiere will take place simultaneously in London and Oxford, where production will then begin.
