Talk about a coincidence. Today, MINI released some more info about the upcoming Mk3 model of the Cooper, bound to be officially unveiled on November 18th and now, just hours after the press release was launched, we get to look at the car completely cammo free.
The 2014 model seems to be slightly redesigned, both to give it a fresh look and to protect pedestrians from accidents. The car in this photo shoot has double spoke wheels, a rear roof spoiler, dual center-mount exhaust and an air intake on the hood.

On the front fascia you'll now notice the new headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights that encircle almost the entire cluster, whilst at the back, the new taillights look a bit bigger.

The longer bonnet is noticeable and could be explained by the fact that the new range will receive 2-liter engines, even though the difference isn't that big. Talking about engines, we should point out that the new MINI Cooper S will most likely have 192 HP and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) and 300 Nm with over boost, all coming from a 2-liter TwinTurbo engine.

Other engines available for the MINI Cooper range will include the brand new B38 3-cylinder 1.5-liter engine family with power ratings starting at 136 HP and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft).

Compared to the previous model, the power increase doesn't seem that big, considering the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivered 184 HP. 8 HP look like nothing but the UKL chassis and the lighter construction could prove us all wrong.
