The 2014 MINI Cooper will go on sale this spring and the MINI USA branch just announced the price tag of the new model that will start at $20,745 on the North American continent, including the handling tax.
According to MINI, the new model’s enhanced connectivity, new engines and upgraded interior make the Mk3 model more premium than ever, bringing revolutionary technology to the market.
The new 3-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine fitted to the Cooper Hardtop really is a completely new breed, being the first one of its kind to be used on a production vehicle.
The powerplant makes 136 HP and will be available with either a manual 6-speed gearbox or an automatic one. The new model also gets driving modes for the first time in the brand’s history alongside parking sensors, both of them as optional features.
