Along with the prices for the 2014 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hardtops, MINI USA also launched the official configurator for the two new models on its website.
The option list is pretty stuffed and the best thing about it is that all the prices are really well rounded off. Almost everything is either $100, $500, $1,000 or $1,5000.
You can have your pick out of around 10 different paint colors and getting the roof and the mirrors in different colors is a no-cost option. You also get Sport Seats and floor mats for free on the Cooper S model alongside heated mirrors.
Prices are surprisingly low, at least for me. For example, for just $500 you can get the MINI Head-Up display, the Dynamic Damper Control or the Sport suspension.
The pricier options are the 6-Speed Steptronic automatic gearbox with paddle shifters ($1,500) and the Lounge Satellite Leather ($1,750) but as long as you can control yourself with the optionals, you can get a pretty good deal at around $25,000.
