It’s been less than a month since we’ve spotted the camouflaged 2014 Mercedes-Benz Viano for the second time, and the minibus came back into our news thanks to a couple of design sketches that just surfaced onto the Internet.
The sketches were posted by the Mercedes-Benz Passion blog, who claims they were obtained straight from Daimler, and reveal most of the vehicle’s exterior and interior design. Judging by our latest spyshots, body styling seems to be pretty accurate for an early rendering, but we’ll be on the lookout for more info.
Little is known about the new Viano, but word has it Mercedes-Benz is looking to offer a range of BlueEfficiency diesel engines connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission. No hybrid or EV versions will be introduced, as the Germans weren’t happy with the lack of demand.
