German automaker Mercedes-Benz has released a brand-new video in which AMG Product Manager Rob Moran talks about the high-performance 2014 E63 AMG S-Model Wagon.
Looking to buy a family car that provides top safety rating for your children? You do? Well, Rob Moran says you need a 2014 E63 AMG S-Model Wagon. But be careful because this is no ordinary wagon. Powered by a hand-built biturbo 5.5-liter V8 engine, the E63 AMG S-Model boasts no less than 577 HP and 590 lb-ft of torque.
It benefits from the company’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, has an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed tranmission, and can reach a top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h) and a 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) time of 3.7 seconds. To handle all that power, the vehicle can be ordered with ceramic brakes and ventilated 360 mm brake discs.
Sounds like a true-blue German sportscar right? In case you’re not impressed (and you’d need very strong arguments for that), just think about the 57.4 cubic feet of cargo space this station wagon has.
