Last week, Mercedes let slip a teaser sketch for the new Viano, showing us impressive design changes that brought the minibus remarkably close to the design of their car models.
The sketch which emerged on Mercedes-Benz Passion blog at the time stood as an inspiration for X-Tomi Design to render the new Viano as it will be once it actually enters production.
As you can see, Mercedes is not pulling punches with the design. This is as bold as it gets, much more striking than the big rivals, exuding power and elegance.
The new Viano will continue to be offered with a choice of either diesel or petrol engines, complying with the upcoming EU6 standards. Currently, the vehicle is only available with 6 or 5 speed gearboxes and the 5 G-Tronic automatic, but this will soon likely change as Mercedes adopts a new seven-speed automatic transmission.
