Mercedes-Benz USA has launched the online configurator for the all-new 2014 S-Class flagship sedan, so we can all take that $92,900 entry-level model and load it with all kind of stuff... for free.
As expected, selecting an exterior color for the S-Class means choosing from a range of silver, black and grey shades (seven actually) plus a few darkened green and blue colors, plus the familiar Diamond White Metallic. Those interested in the company’s exclusive color options, the Designo configurator has yet to be updated for the 2014 model.
Moving on to packages, you can opt to throw in $5,900 for the Sport Package or $6,650 for the Sport Package Plus One, both of which come with 19 and 20-inch AMG alloys wheels. Exterior accessories include a rear spoiler, wheel hub inserts and a license plate frame.
Inside packages will make customers spend another $4,500 for the Premium 1 and a few more couple grands for warmth and Comfort or the Executive Rear Seat Package. There are 13 colors and four trims to be played with and enough convenience and safety features and options to keep you busy for a while. Head over to Mercedes’ website for the full configurator.
