Now that the new W205 generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has made its way onto the streets, the tuning scene has begun to play with the vehicle and the latest aftermarket developer to do so is Schmidt Revolution.
Like the rest of the C-Class tuning touches released so far, this is a mild approach. Nonetheless, you won’t hear us complaining. After all, the new C 63 AMG is still in the prototype phase.

The chosen model was the C 220 BlueTEC and since Schmidt Revolution only handled the wheels, to which we’ll get in a minute, they turned to two partners for the rest of the job. The 2.2-liter unit, which delivers 170 hp and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) when it leaves the factory, was gifted with a Carlsson ECU remap and now allows the driver to play with 204 hp and peak torque of 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).

The connection to the road is established via a KW Variant 3 inox-line suspension. This can bring the car lower to the road, by up to 35 mm up front and by up to 70 mm at the rear.

As for Schmidth Revolution’s rollers, these are part of what the tuner calls the “family of the light rims” and measure 20 inches in diameter. The wheels are shod in Dunlop rubber, measuring 235/30 R20 up front and 275/25 R20 at the back.

The wheels you see here are finished in High Gloss Silver, but, if you're into dark things, you can also have them in Satin Black.
