Set to debut at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, the all-new Maserati Ghibli was revealed ahead of time by a few alleged official photos that have surfaced on the web.
We’ve only seen the new Ghibli in the spyshots released a month ago, but the car was camouflage-packed, making it harder for us to do a comparison in order to established if these so-called official pictures are authentic.
However, we do have a few clues we can cling on. First there’s the head and tail lamps. Visible in the spyshots as well, they seem to be similar to those that can be seen in the photos provided by AutoForum.cz. Secondly, the car’s proportions look to be just right for a baby Quattroporte.
On the other hand, the teaser we showed you last week hints at a longer-nosed vehicle, but we really shouldn’t go to far down that road with a digitally wrapped vehicle. The mystery will be solved later this month, when the 2014 Maserati Ghibli will be officially unveiled in China.
