Scheduled to arrive in Europe this summer, the all new Lexus IS promises to come with another special feature to aid its driver, as it will include a Google-enhanced navigation system which will rapidly bring detailed informations about destinations the user intends to travel to.
The 2014 IS’ next gen in-dash system will give users direct access to Google features like Local Search, Street View and Panoramio services, all being part of Google Maps system.
Google Local Search will allow searching for points of interests nearby, while Street View will bring real-life images of the destination into the cabin, in order to get the driver or passengers familiarized with the location.
Adding to this, the global picture-sharing Panoramio will allow photo uploads, full-screen viewing of them and directly select as destination feature.
