2014 Lexus IS Named Car of the Year by Esquire

For the past four years, Esquire’s annual car of the year award featured only American or German cars, but not this time. This year’s award goes to Japan for the all new Lexus IS sport sedan.

Naming it “thrilling first, responsible second”, Esquire appreciates the new style Lexus has adopted for the 2014 IS model, especially fitted with the F Sport pack, which adds a more aggressive front fascia, tuned suspension, an LFA-inspired gauge cluster and other interior features.

Based on the idea that a car should also make you look at it a second and even a third time in a parking lot, the new Lexus IS F Sport topped the criteria with its oozing personality and style.
