If you’ve seen elephants drawing abstract things with their trunk loosely holding a brush and soaking it in different colors, you’ve reached “that” area of Youtube. If not, here’s something more interesting.
Artists and engineers have worked together and turned a 2014 Lexus IS 300h into a portraitist. Well, it has no hands or brushes, nor a trunk, but its onboard display can portrait the man behind the wheel according to his driving style.
Using advanced software, the artist was enabled to clone his creative process and way of painting to create some sort of technological assistant generating his work. It’s hard to wrap your mind around this, but long story short is that the artist loosely draws a portrait of the one behind the steering wheel, while the car finishes it according to his driving style.
Check the video bellow and see how it works.
