As we are closing in for 2014 and many of the new models have already reached showrooms, the jurors of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year (NACTOY) award are working on evaluating cars and cutting down the “long list”.
The non-profit jury of 50 North American auto writers have come to a short list composed of 12 cars, also containing two Toyota Vehicles - the all new Toyota Corolla and the 2014 Lexus IS, the most important vehicles the Japanese automaker released this year.

Both cars come with improved designs and upscaled interiors taking their nameplates to a whole new level. The list also contains the BMW 4 Series, Cadillac CTS, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet Impala, Infiniti Q50, Jaguar F-Type Kia Cadenza, Mazda3, Mazda6 and Mercedes-Benz CLA.
