Most of the tests we’ve seen so far with the 2014 Lexus IS the most powerful one in focus - the IS 350 F Sport, which is the perfect match for the German rivals.
Although not available in North America, the IS 300h is Lexus’ offer for those who still want the looks but care much for fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions.
Unlike the V6 powered IS 350, the 300h houses a hybrid drivetrain composed of a 2.5-liter Atkinson four-cylinder gasoline engine rated at 178 bhp and an electric motor making 141 bhp and more importantly, 221 lb-ft of torque.
AutoGuide tested the 2014 Lexus IS 300h recently, founding it impressively good-looking, having one of the best interiors in the class and providing good fuel economy.
