Following the unveiling of the 2014 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado a few hours ago, Lexus has unwrapped the facelifted GX 460 luxury SUV, along with pricing information for the United States.
The redesigned GX 460 comes with the company's familiar spindle grille with standard LED headlights, daytime running lights and LED fog lamps. At the back, the SUV has gained restyled taillamps and a new bumper, while the 18-inch wheels sport a split six-spoke design and a liquid graphite finish.

Inside, updates include a new infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen display, a slightly revised center console and a new linear espresso wood/abyss black trim. Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert is also available for the 2014 model year.

Under the hood, the GX 460 has the same 4.6-liter V8 engine that delivers 301 HP at 5,500 rpm when mated to the six-speed ECT-i transmission. Lexus claims the GX 460 will return an EPA-estimated 15 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon on the highway.

As far as pricing goes, the 2014 GX starts at $49,085, which makes the entry-level version $4,710 cheaper when compared with the outgoing model. The Luxury grade, which comes with Navigation and Adaptable Air Suspension, fetched at least $60,715. Pricing does not include the $910 delivery and handling fee.
