We don’t know about you, but we really dig the short-wheel base Mitsubishi Pajero, especially if it’s the Dakar Rally-based Evolution model. What’s this got to do with the 2014 Lexus GX? Nothing really, except the fact that X-Tomi Design just created a three-door version of the facelifted luxury SUV.
How do we feel about it? Well, it doesn’t look bad at all, but it would probably struggle on the market if such a model would ever see the light of day. However, a set of bigger wheels, a sportier body kit and a lowered suspension would probably make us want one in parked in front of our office.
In case you missed it, the facelifted 2014 Lexus GX 460 was revealed last week with a new spindle grille, standard LED headlights, LED fog lamps, restyled taillamps a new bumper, and redesigned split six-spoke 18-inch wheels.
Powered by the same 4.6-liter V8 engine (301 HP) and six-speed ECT-i transmission, the 2014 GX starts at $49,085 in the United States, which makes it $4,710 cheaper when compared with the 2013 model.
