Italian automaker Lancia has unveiled the 2014 Delta ahead of the vehicle’s public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show later this month.
For the 2014 model year, the third-generation Delta has received a minor facelift, which includes body-colored side skirts and front/rear bumpers and twin chrome exhaust pipes. Inside, the small family features a new glossy black trim on the central console and matte black inserts for the steering wheel and instrument panel.
As far as engines are concerned, the 2014 Delta gets the same mills as last year’s model. This means there will be a 1.6-liter MultiJet with 105 HP, a 1.6-liter MultiJet with 120 HP, and the 1.4-liter Turbo-Jep LPG with 120 HP, all connected to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Available in four trim levels - Steel, Silver, Gold and “S by MomoDesign”, the 2014 Delta can be had in 19 body color choices, including 9 two-tone options, and 7 types of 16-inch to 18-inch alloy wheels. The updated Delta will go on sale on most European markets starting January 2014.
