Good news for the fans of sport-touring bikes, as it looks like the new year model of the Kawasaki Z1000SX has reached a final shape.
At least this is what we tend to believe after seeing these spy shots taken on the famous Atlantic Road in Norway. Since this scenic road is used by many motorcycle manufacturers for the action shots we then get to see in the press, we can assume that this is how the 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX will look like.

No tech details are available at the moment, but on the outside we can see that the sidecases have been redesigned a bit and the front end of the bike also received some minor modifications. We can only speculate on whether the 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX will bring ABS as standard and multiple engine mappings like the rest of the new sport-touring machines.

Even more, we bet there are a lot of Kawasaki fans who are also waiting for some traction control goodies and they expect the KTRC technology to be present in the new Z1000, too.

With the launch of the bike scheduled for the next months, all we can do is wait and see. Photos via MotoBlog.
