Akrapovic has been quite a busy bee and readied a new exhaust line for the new and beastly 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 machine.
A full range of exhausts will soon hit the Akrapovic dealers, including titanium and carbon fiber slip-on exhausts, a racing line full system, optional titanium headers and a race-grade GP titanium slip-on silencer.
The max power gain provided reaches 11.3 hp at 10,500 rpm, with 4.6 lb-ft (6.2 Nm) at the same rpm value, obtained with the slip-on mounted on the titanium headers.
The carbon can saves the most weight over the Kawasaki Z1000 stock silencers. The carbon fiber exhaust is 9.6 kg (21.2 lbs) lighter than the OEM one, soe you're in for an even bigger performance boost.
Motomag says the Z1000 exhausts will become available at the end of January, with a rumored price of €1,308 ($1,770).
