Kawasaki pulled the wraps off their new 2014 all-rounder Versys ABS. A true "jack of all trades, master of none", the 2014 Versys ABS is a nifty choice for those in search of middleweight bike with a sporty character and yet capable to go the extra mile beyond the edge of the asphalt.
Surprisingly maneuverable and with sport-touring-minded ergonomics, the new Kawasaki Versys ABS looks like a subtly refined version of the previous one. The compact 649cc parallel-twin delivers plenty of punch for both highway hauls and city slicing, while the liquid cooling makes a really big difference during the summer.

Long-travel suspensions grant the 2014 Versys ABS better terrainability and riders should no longer fear looking ahead at the beginning of the fire road. The digital fuel injection and 6-speed transmission can tackle pretty much anything up to soft-enduro surfaces, and loading some more aggressive tires will show you just how versatile the bike is.

The ABS system is new, and the 2014 Versys ABS now comes with dual 300mm petal rotors in the front and a 220mm rear one, all three taken from the Ninja series.

Add in the sleek stacked headlight and the unique, modern bodywork for a sweet all-rounder which can serve you in more ways than you thought possible. The 2014 Kawasaki Versys ABS comes in Candy Lime Green, with a price tag reading a very affordable $7,999 (€6,020).
