Ontario, Canada… didn’t they have a gold rush up there back in the day, prospectors running around digging and panning dirt by the river? It appears somebody has struck it big and found enough gold to buy a whole car and cover it with gold. Eat your heart out Dubai!
We’re kidding of course, but a gold wrapped Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 did strike us as a bit of an eyeful for Canada. We like it, we like it a lot, but we’re not sure what Ontario will think.
Anyway, the guys at Restyling It recently sent us word of one of their latest projects, a brand new 2014 model year Grand Cherokee which the owner wanted be made special.The execution looks very good, with no creases or warping in the very delicate chrome vinyl. They also appear to have tinted the taillights and bumper reflectors.
This SUV now looks like a working man’s sledgehammer… covered in gold.
