Norton Motorcycles confirms a 3-year deal with “Australia’s fastest plumber”, Cameron Donald. Cameron, whose riding style and Endurance World Championship achievements can be traced through the TT Legends documentary, will take part in the Dainese Superbike and PokerStars Senior TT Races, official sources inform.
The move follows a 3-year deal with Wilson Craig Racing, and even some rumors saw Cameron Donald’s future on the Mountain course in less than bright colors, it appears like his commitment to achieve greater Snaefell glory is paying off.

Cameron Donald impressed the audience with his 2005 Newcomers Trophy and the incredible second place the following year in the Senior TT. Back-to-back Superbike and Superstock victories in 2008 have prepared his first 131+ (210 km/h) practice lap form 2009 and confirmed him as one of the top riders on the Mountain. All in all, Donald has 10 podiums in the Isle of Man TT and is the 8th fastest rider ever on the Snaefell course, with a fastest race lap of 130.729 mph (210.342 km/h).

Norton has recently retained the services of Mick Grant, another huge name in road racing, the rider who broke the record Mike Hailwood 1967 established back in 1967, and which stood for no less than 8 years. Mick Grant will be aided in the development of the SG3 machine by Steve Plater, a British Supersport champion and Suberbike top rider.

The 2014 Isle of Man TT will take place at the end of May and in early June, with the qualifying periods starting on May 24 and the main event, the Senior TT race being held on June 6.
