Japanese luxury car manufacturer and Nissan division Infiniti announced that deliveries of the brand-new 2014 Q50 sports sedan will commence on August 5.
In addition, the company revealed that it has already sold 3,650 units of the luxury sedan during the pre-sale program announced at the New York Auto Show in March.
"The Infiniti Q50 pre-sale exceeded all expectations, becoming the most successful such program in Infiniti history," said Infiniti Americas vice president Ben Poore. "There is exceptional interest in this stunningly designed Q50,” he added.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 will arrive with prices starting at $37,605 (including destination and handling fee), while the range-topping hybrid Q50S AWD will fetch at least $49,055. The new luxury sedan can be ordered with a choice of two engines - a 3.7-liter V6 rated at 328 HP and a 3.5-liter V6 good for 360 HP, the latter available on hybrid versions.
