The Genesis sedan is all-new for 2015, but the Genesis Coupe remains its old self through the 2014 model year. However, Hyundai has announced a few touches that will make it more attractive to buy.
Starting off with the exterior, there are five new exterior colors, but also new cloth interior seats. The Genesis Coupe also gets the Hyundai Assurance Connected Care telematics services free for three years, and BlueLink features like Automatic Collision Notification, SOS Emergency Assistance, Enhanced Roadside Assistance.

No extra muscle for the engines, but the 2-liter turbo sounds a little better because of an intake sound induction pipe. If you have it with a manual, that gets hill-start assist, while the automatic gets an RPM downshift rev-matching system.

The bad news is prices have been increased by about $2000 to $26,350 including destination for the 274 hp turbo model with a six-speed manual. That's a lot considering you can get a Scion FR-S from $25,200 plus destination. We really don't know how Hyundai can justify this huge price bump. The 2013 Genesis Coupe was $24,250 plus destination and wasn't exactly a best-seller last year.
