2014 Honda Interstate, Pro Street Touring Supremacy

The Interstate was born because people who love custom-look bikes are often guys who also love to ride their bike far beyond the county borders and the state line. And Honda proved that custom two-wheeled machinery and touring can get along quite well, with the 2014 Interstate being the newest proof at hand.

Building on the acclaimed bespoke looks of the Sabre and the road-worthiness of the Stateline, the 2014 Honda Interstate takes things to a new level. It sports the raw, uncompromising stance of the raked-out, chopped-front Sabre, but with the massive front tire of the Stateline... with some more additions to make things look even better.

While the riding position remained as laid back and classic, the comfort improved, as the 2014 Honda Interstate received a mid-sized windscreen and two roomy leather-clad saddlebags. Offering plenty of room for overnight trips and even longer journeys, Honda's pro-street, custom-look class went touring, bringing the best of the two worlds together.

On the tech side, the 2014 Honda Interstate is powered by the liquid-cooled 1,312cc injected v-twin of the family and rolls with the same cast wheels and 5-speed tranny.

Classic by looks and modern by the technology Honda uses, the 2014 Interstate is a nifty middleweight cruiser offered at a special price. The base model retails for $13,240 (€9,980), with the ABS version $1,000 (€753) more.

I believe that Honda could come up with more pictures, though: their bikes look really sharp, and it's a shame having to deal with so few pics.
